Paleo Classic Ranch is one of the most requested and versatile dressings. This paleo-friendly gluten-free recipe can be used for salad toppings, dipping sauce, and even as a marinade. Thick and creamy with a smooth consistency, it’s the perfect “stand alone” choice. Or simply add a few spices and herbs for a new twist on this dressing favorite.
1/4 cup canned full-fat coconut milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, crushed
Ground black pepper to taste
Himalayan salt to taste
1 cup paleo mayo (recipe below)
2 tsp fresh basil
Add all liquid ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. Add salt and pepper, then stir in fresh basil. Serve immediately or store in an air-tight glass jar in the refrigerator.
1-cup organic avocado oil
1-tbsp apple cider vinegar
1-tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1-large organic egg, room temperature
1/2-tsp himalayan salt
1/2-tsp ground black pepper
Using your favorite mini-processor, add the egg, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, pepper and blend. Add the avocado oil a little at a time through the top drip holes/channel and continue to blend for about a minute until you have a smooth, thick consistency. Store in an airtight glass jar in the fridge.
